It's great to get my sound enjoyed. Thank you.

File: name325.wav | User: dobroide

unfortunately there will be a couple files missing in the pack (inclusion in the database fails for some reason). Therefore the overall number is 323 files, not 325. Sorry for this

File: 1. BEETHOVEN MESSED UP!.aif | User: ERH

Great uploads! What playing from freesound's own renaissance man! You even balls up brilliantly. Ludwig would have laughed I know. This I know. So why don't you move to Yorkshire and we can set up an impro outfit that no-one will listen to who cares anyway go on do it I dare ya we have some room left here especially for yogic maestros trouble is you have to drink beer and talk funny like me ha ha maybe I should move to Chicago and live under a piano.

File: Goin wee wee.wav | User: pmatcb

radom but funny to use

File: name325.wav | User: hammerklavier

you know it's funny but when you download a pack it doesn't show up in the "download" category...well I downloaded the whole pack because there's something about this pack that I find essential. It's catalog of a part of life, and to me it's eloquent and basic. It must've driven you crazy cataloguing this whole pack; but it feels like part of what Freesounds is for. Much appreciation. I would've never thought of doing something this basic. Many thanks from one of your biggest fans. m.

File: bunnyprayer.wav | User: Criccos

This is pretty creepy. What 80's speed metal album is it off?

File: mosquito-ringtone.mp3 | User: DickyBrucks

This sound is AWESOME. Great for simulating high tinnitus if you shift the pitch down a bit. While I was editing it, it drove the guy sitting next to me freakin' nuts. Very fun.

File: STE-008.wav | User: ocnarf

Ordinarily I quite like this sort of stuff, but hey on this occasion... way too harsh. Disturbed my romantic side for all things associated with rail travel.

File: thunderstorm2.flac | User: ProGem

i like it its cool

File: mmm.wav | User: hammerklavier

tc, I've been away for many of your samples, and having discovered them, let me throw your comment to me back at you: So very nice to have samples like this on Freesounds! If this is you playing, and if you've made some of the other jazz samples here as well, bravo. So very nice to hear this, and nice phrasing too. Hope you do more. Jazz is rare and beautiful; and the more we get, the greater the archive! Thanks!

File: zoidberg_box.mp3 | User: hello_flowers

i believe this is copyrighted isnt it?

File: STE-000_v1.mp3 | User: hammerklavier

a very sweet, spacious recording; very restful; very nice work, s-e.

File: i_married_a_widow.wav | User: dobroide

the story of the guy who became his own grandfather is many times atributed to Mark Twain, check google. But it's also in the Latin culture (my mum first told me this story when I was a kid, she was fascinated about it), so I think the atribution to Twain is probably wrong, who knows. Anyway, it seems clear to me that the story belongs to the public domain

File: dog.wav | User: Necropain

...

File: robots_on_oaks.wav | User: hammerklavier

this is the kind of thing I do with my samples: After uploading them separately, I mix them altogether and upload them as a mix. It's a lot of fun---especially when you follow it up with a reading on the Tower of Babel. I'd have never expected these from you—you have all kinds of surprises! I can't wait to see what's next...

File: i_married_a_widow.wav | User: hammerklavier

(I'm really glad this isn't you! This guy's got problems!
What a bunch of fascinating uploads---how'd you ever think of these!)

File: eating_an_apple.WAV | User: Necropain

File: pianoloop.wav | User: Ieatpenguins

Freaking awesome I'm instantly making a song out of this, possibly for a soundtrack, but I'll let you know if that happens

Thanks!

File: Water4.aif | User: Hertzfelt

Flabbergasting! This motivates me so much that i'll try acheiving a similar sound in reason and Live!
I might use your sound in an underwater scene if i cant creat a comparable one myself, which is probably the case! ;-) thanks

File: dark hum.mp3 | User: Baluccia

Very nice...

File: piano_2_140bpm.wav | User: Theta Wave

A good, simple, trance techno melody. I've had fun with editing the sound. I DO wish this was slowed down to 100 bpm, however. Then it'd be more easy to change the tempo.

File: ae 16 sci fi synth soundscape.mp3 | User: DJ Chronos

This is by far the best thing I've heard in the way of drones. The way it progresses and maintains the hallow feel but still having some color and life is phenomenal. What did you use the make this? I want it! (I'll kill for it!) :D

File: trance_coder_7_Bangbang_130.wav | User: Theta Wave

Very cool! Thanks for this.

File: deuteronomio.mp3 | User: hammerklavier

Ok, D, I listened to a few minutes of the Spanish, and it sounds like a Spanish robot! This is one of the wildest upload-concepts on the site! And do you really offer uncompressed versions? (Do you send them in a metal vault?) The great thing about this is that it catapulted you to the top of the "Most Active" list with a whopping 1720.35 minutes---leaving poor klankshap & Jovica trembling in the dust. (Watch out for lawsuits.) And what better way to do that than with a robotic recitation of one of the longest books in the bible! Next, give us the complete works of Shakespeare. Or the Oxford English Dictionary. (It's 20 volumes.) Enjoy your spring! :-))) m

File: Pad 009 - Bending Hypnosis - C3.flac | User: hammerklavier

I regret that I could only hear this set in pieces over several days (I'm not home and had to borrow a computer here and there), but having heard several of the set, I can only say it's another of your deep journeys into sound, and this sample in particular has all the elements: A continuous sound, but with layers intersecting, and a ringing 'presence' somewhere inside that keeps emerging & submerging. I haven't a sampler so can't access these; but I must tell you that for me, many of your complex collections are sound-experiences in themselves. As always, a pleasure; and sorry I'm so late this time!

File: lake_harsha_pier_steve_bayer.mp3 | User: hammerklavier

well another meeting of worlds from your ear...waves as filtered through a pier, and its metallic structure gives these waves a sharp, cutting tone; they could almost be wind too (processed pretty heavily). A sharp little slice of life. I really liked this.

File: dark ambiences 002.wav | User: hammerklavier

am at a computer that I have to surrender in a few seconds, so I'll comment on just a sample...very nice series, this one being a good example: You've got a basic drone-y sound, but you've processed it to sound like it were going in and out of a threshold somehwere, breaking up at the outer edges and coming back from some dark empty place. Lots going on in a short sample & another nice series of sounds from your fertile mind...

File: CinematicBoomNorm.wav | User: missredpandora

Nice sound, thanks.

File: Blackbird.WAV | User: dobroide

Terrific! And the rumble of traffic is barely audible, which makes me zealous (this recording would be impossible in noisy Sevilla). Wanted to let you know: I looked at this file in an editor and it seems your capsules are slightly unmatched, the right one yields about 2 dB less output.... just like my own WL183. I often need adding this gain in post to get the original stereo image :-(

File: Guitar Jam 6 - S R V Wanna Be 2.wav | User: dobroide

round sound, I like it!

File: japanese.numbers.wav | User: dobroide

I just imitated what one can listen on the internet... but you are really kind :-)

File: The long morning.wav | User: reinsamba

You've beaten the record, no wav-file bigger than this one on freesound, I guess! My challenge was to be the first to download, I hope not to be the only.
Well since free time became rather limited for me in this spring, You gave me the chance to listen to that wonderful dawn chorus. Thanx for sharing!

File: deuteronomy.mp3 | User: hammerklavier

this is one of the most unusual uploads on the site. I confess complete ignorance of the software (I'll look it up), but it's just fascinating to hear it make these sounds for us. And Deuteronomy! A long speech by Moses! (A lonnnnng speech!) What a fascinating idea for an upload. Leave it to one of our masters...I confess i didn't hear the whole thing (!), but hey, I know the book. Still, I heard a bit of it a few nights ago and wanted to tell you, thank you. This is the kind of thing that makes Freesounds unique: the familiar in utterly unfamiliar settings. Always good to find your work on the web...

one of the disadvantages of being away (and only having access to a computer once every few days) is that I miss your uploads. This is a wonderful, tumultuous capture; and it's wonderful to come to, after a week away from Freesounds!

I like the textures of your Bartok, and that you give more than one version; but I also like that you uploaded BARTOK! It may be the only Bartok on the site, and that's really nice too. Enjoy your uploads. Hope to hear more...

nice and rich guitar work in this bunch; nice to hear solo improv on the site. Hope to hear more.

oh, wonderful, rf. It's wonderful how the crickets move across the sound-field, and I love the little "snaps" of Fanny's bucket! A quiet interaction between child and insects. And the crickets really have some jazz going...a small percussion ensemble...

(that should read:
"what a wonderful sample OF colliding worlds..." OF, not "or". I've been away and I'm still away, and I can't form sentences for the life of me! Thanks for this sample regardless!)

what a wonderful sample or colliding worlds and this 'cloistered' wind from inside a car that gives the whole thing a sound of high-pitched intensity. Against that, the birds are like heaven. Strange and beautiful, another rich capture from your audio-pen.
